  • Welcome to the home of the Corpus Christi Crab Feed and Auction on the web; your one stop shop for everything related to our biggest annual fund raising event.

    Dear Corpus Christi Families, Yes, it's that time of year -when crab season opens! It's also the time when you get to raid your wine cellar, visit your favorite restaurant, hit up your number one retail store, put on your party planning hats, and get your donation items in for the school's biggest fundraiser!

    Now in its 49th year, the Silent Auction is an integral part of the Crab Feed. Your support for education and generosity through your auction donations are critical. Last year, $130,000 was raised from the Crab Feed and Silent Auction Event. This year, we know we can raise even more with your help.

    100 percent of the money earned from the Silent Auction goes directly to the Parents' Group, who provide the funding and support for many important programs, such as: Meet the Master's Art Program, the drama program, first aid and CPR training, the Teachers' Incentive Program, the pledge which feeds the operational budget of the school, PEP, as well as tuition assistance, technology updates, new sports uniforms, classroom equipment - to name a few important endeavors. Funds from the Live Auction and the Crab Feed go to the Parish Men's Club, which also makes generous donations to our school.

    We Want (and Need) You!

    The 2012 Auction Packet are live and on this website you can: bullet MAKE your two family donations. (Suggested minimum value per item, $50.00.)

    bullet VOLUNTEER to work the event. It's like getting a backstage pass to the event of the year. And, it's a great time to meet others in the school and parish community - the more the merrier!

    bullet CHECK the list of community donors to see if your favorite retailer, restaurant or business has already donated. If not, encourage them to make a donation to support your child (ren)'s education. Donation forms and sample outreach letters are available in the Documents Library.

    Now's the Time to Get the Scoop!

    For an extra incentive: The first class to turn in all completed forms will win an ice cream social, courtesy of the silent auction co-chairs/shadows and Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream. Because, let's face it . in addition to clamoring for crustaceans, we also scream for ice cream!

    Forms are due by December 9, 2011. Completing the forms on time helps the silent auction team get a jump start on planning and leaves you with one less thing to do during the busy holiday season. The 49th individual/family to turn in their forms by Dec. 9, 2010 will get one free pass to the annual event!

    By the way, if you have an item to donate but are not sure if it will work, simply reach out to the Silent Auction co-chairs. Your item might just be the cherry on the top that we need to complete a package or party!
